We’d like to share two recent news articles about SGPA!
On Sunday, UT San Diego published a great story about SDSU’s new South Campus Plaza. We’re working with Sundt and MVEI on the design-build team to create this mixed-use student housing and retail development.
As the article explains, “The first phase of South Campus Plaza will include two six-story buildings with ground-floor retail and upper-floor residences, and a 300-space parking structure to accommodate retail customers. … Robert Schulz, SDSU’s associate vice president of real estate, planning and development, said the university is excited about moving ahead with the project, which he said will infuse a more urban environment into the suburban area.”

On Monday, The San Diego Daily Transcript interviewed one of our principals on the occasion of the firm’s 45th anniversary.
“SGPA Architecture and Planning sees mixed-use projects as the future of the design and construction industry. And the firm, celebrating its 45th birthday this year, says the path it has taken places it to succeed. ‘Mixed-use is kind of what we are seeing as the future of our industry,’ said Keith Pittsford, principal and vice president of business development of SGPA.”
