Mesa Commons, a new gateway to the Mesa College campus, won the Community College Facility Coalition Design Award of Honor for 2017. SGPA, Miller Hull, & Balfour Beatty teamed for this design/build project to create a highly sustainable student hub which houses multiple campus support and academic programs.
A highlight is the organic rooftop garden that is used by the Culinary Arts Department to provide produce for the program’s student run restaurant to demonstrate healthy farm-to-table trends.
