SGPA Architecture and Planning welcomed two new staff members this past week: Leighton Lee and Nadya Robledo. Adding to our talented team, Mr. Lee will serve as a Senior Project Manager in the San Francisco office, while Ms. Robledo will serve as a Junior Designer there as well.
Mr. Lee is a registered California architect and holds an NCARB certificate. Lee first got started in architecture directly out of high school, when he worked at an Oakland firm. There, he was involved with designing commercial buildings and learned worthwhile techniques from time spent on construction sites. After receiving his degree from UC Berkeley, he diversified his experience with residential, multifamily, retail, churches and industrial projects, eventually working on hospitals, medical office buildings and as a forensic architect.
Robledo, an AIA Associate and MCARB IDP Participant, graduated from the NewSchool of Architecture + Design. In her six+ years as an architect thus far, her strengths with technology-based programs allow her to specialize in advanced design solutions and innovative spatial designs. She comes to SGPA as an expert in design research, pre-design, schematic design and design development of architecture.
