A retail, food, and entertainment village will enliven El Camino Real and cultivate community for the City of Santa Clara.

Gateway Village is the retail, food, and entertainment component of a redevelopment that also includes a new 476-unit residential community. The retail will provide convenient restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and services to the new residents as well as provide an exciting new commercial destination for the community.

The architecture is modern and striking and will help to visually enhance and revitalize El Camino Real. The design includes a strong gateway structure on El Camino Real that incorporates signage and gives visibility to the activity within the site. The signature element of the plan is a central plaza with food kiosks, outdoor dining, a children’s play area, and a performance stage surrounded by a stepped seating area.
