A full renovation of the interior, which includes 144 living units of affordable housing.

San Pablo Hotel entails an occupied renovation of a senior living community that was originally built in 1906 with 144 affordable, senior Single Room Occupancy (SRO) apartments. The project received a 4% tax credit financing for the refreshing of unit interiors, reprogramming of ground floor common areas, and upgrades to building infrastructure.

Residents have been heavily involved in the design of the exterior landscape and site improvements. These contributions encourage ownership over the process and overall satisfaction with the end result.
