The Price Center Project involves optimizing space and converting the building from a single-tenant use to a multi-tenant use.

The University of California San Diego Bookstore previously occupied three levels. At the conclusion of this project, the bookstore consolidated and occupied the 1st floor, a future retailer will occupy the 2nd floor, and UCSD departments will occupy the 3rd floor. The major scope of work includes retrofitting the existing MEP systems to accommodate separate tenants on each floor, potential elevator upgrades, exterior path of travel and restroom accessibility upgrades, demolition of the 1st level stairs and structural infill/support of the overhead opening/slab, and a new accessible elevator lobby on the 1st level to the existing elevator and stair core on the south side of the building.
