The Senior Living  | Wellness Studio is excited about the future of designing housing and caring environments for communities that promote sustainability and active lifestyles. This studio finds solutions that produce value and wellness in order to meet the needs of clients and their residents.  Pamela Camack [Associate Principal], Justin Tholen [Senior Associate], and Jaclyn Shor [Associate] lead the studio with a goal of inspiring high-quality relationships with clients to sustain ongoing and future design work.

The following Senior Living | Wellness projects are significant to our studio’s portfolio:

Littlejohn Commons

Littlejohn Commons (Del Monte) is an affordable senior housing development in Alameda that has implemented energy saving measures and community gardens to maintain the community’s high quality of life.

William Jenkins Health Center

The new William Jenkins Health Center houses a variety of care and services. SGPA partnered with LifeLong Medical Care to design spaces that encourage growth of healthy communities.

Pinnacle Senior Living

Designed to accommodate a variety of care levels, Pinnacle enables the lifestyle, physical requirements, and personal preferences of the residents while still maintaining a residential style and scale.

Seacrest Village Master Plan

For the past decade, SGPA has provided master planning and design services for Seacrest Village’s 13.8-acre campus in Encinitas to accommodate their growing population.  Some of their projects included an independent living addition, memory care residences, renovation to a skilled nursing facility, and a new vitality center.
