Philip believes the built environment has an extraordinary impact on our everyday lives. He began his career at a small architectural office on the coast of Northern Carolina before moving to San Francisco and working in retail architecture as a corporate Architect for Gap, Inc. Since joining SGPA in 2001 he has worked on all phases of projects including major retail centers, regional malls, and mixed use developments.

As Project Manager for retail and mixed use projects, Philip is responsible for managing projects and the design team from conceptual design phases through planning, governmental approvals, and construction. He also serves as Operations Manager for the San Francisco office, where he helps to improve SGPA’s use of technology in order to meet our clients’ goals.
